Wednesday's scheduled debate between three candidates seeking the 7th Assembly District seat has been canceled.
The League of Women Voters of Sonoma County was forced to cancel the debate at Santa Rosa City Hall because it did not have enough volunteers to host the forum, said Anita Lytle, co-chairwoman of the league's voter service group.
"It had nothing to do with the candidates," Lytle said.
Democrat Michael Allen, Republican Doris Gentry and Libertarian Kathryn Moore are vying for the seat currently held by Assemblywoman Noreen Evans, who is running for the state Senate.
