Petaluma grad wins PG&E scholarship

Priscilla Ng will use her five-year scholarship at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo.|

Priscilla Ng, a 2015 graduate of Casa Grande High School, has been awarded a scholarship worth up to $100,000 by Pacific Gas & Electric Company.

Ng will use it to study mechanical engineering at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She would like to become a marine engineer; helping to design the next model of naval ships and submarines.

Throughout high school, Ng was active in athletics including swimming and rock climbing. She is a member of National Honor Society, AWANAs Ministry and Tomorrow’s Leaders Today.

The Bright Minds scholarship provides up to $20,000 per year for up to five years while Ng completes her undergraduate degree. She is one of 10 California students to earn this award.
