Vote for the worst road in Sonoma County

A few months back, we asked PD readers to help us identify the worst roads in Sonoma County. Now, it's time to pick a winner, or loser, if you prefer.|

For many North Coast residents, the return of rain means more than a respite from drought. It's pothole season.

A few months back, we asked Press Democrat readers to help us identify the bone-jarringest, head-rattlingest, disc-slippingest roads in Sonoma County. Now, with the Board of Supervisors set to address our woebegone byways at Tuesday's meeting, it's your chance to vote for the most pockmarked thoroughfare in all the land.

To commemorate the occasion, we're kicking off an NCAA tournament-style bracket where readers can vote to declare one lucky (or unlucky) road the worst of the worst.

To meet the candidates, click here, where you can see photos and maps, as well as read short profiles of each stretch of pavement. Then, visit our bracket to vote.

Voting begins today and the first round will conclude Friday morning.
