A 10-pound piglet named Janice found wandering the streets of San Francisco last week has a new home at the Sonoma County Reptile Rescue in Sebastopol.

The oinker, spotted running wild on Dolores Street in the city's Mission District on March 8, was corralled by several good Samaritans and handed over to San Francisco Animal Care and Control.

No one has claimed the animal but dozens of people wanted to adopt her, reported ABC7.

According to the 27-year-old organization's website, Reptile Rescue founder Al Wolf has an extensive background in reptile care, animal husbandry and conservation and previously worked at the San Francisco Zoo.
