Three injured in Santa Rosa crash

The collision occurred Monday night on West Third Street near Surrey Drive in west Santa Rosa.|

Three people were hurt Monday night in a single-car crash on West Third Street in Santa Rosa, emergency dispatchers said.

The collision occurred at about 8:30 p.m. on West Third Street near Surrey Drive.

The vehicle slammed into a structure, sustaining major front-end damage, officials said. One person was rushed - “code three” with lights and sires - to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. Two others were also taken to the hospital with what appeared to be less serious injuries, dispatchers said.

Santa Rosa Police Sgt. Jeneane Kucker said that officers were still at the scene several hours later investigating the crash.
