A Clearlake teen has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and causing the death of one of his passengers following a fatal late Friday night crash in Lake County, the CHP reported.

Jeramy M. Isom, 19, was driving on Morgan Valley Road just after 10 p.m. when he apparently allowed the Toyota Tacoma pickup he was driving to drift off the road, the CHP said. When he tried to turn back into his lane, the truck rolled, killing Nick Mittelstedter, 19, also of Clearlake. Two other passengers, James VanHoose, 32, and Gabriel Wetzel, 19, both of Clearlake, suffered moderate and minor injuries.

All vehicle occupants except Mittelstedetter were wearing seatbelts, the CHP reported.

The incident remains under investigation.
