Santa Rosa police will set up a checkpoint Friday night looking for drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs, as well as drivers without a valid license.

Officers canceled last Friday’s checkpoint because of rain.

This one is slated to be held from 7 p.m. Friday to 2:30 a.m. Saturday, somewhere in the city, according to a Santa Rosa news release issued Wednesday.

Checkpoints are regularly held throughout Sonoma County by law enforcement, most often during holidays.
