A community meeting for Rincon Valley and Windsor fire district residents will be 6 p.m. Thursday at the Larkfield fire station.

The meeting, led by the Chief Jack Piccinini and the two fire district boards, will include details of the losses of the Tubbs fire, which on Oct. 8 swept in from Calistoga and burned one-quarter of Rincon Valley’s sprawling fire district. The losses were heavy in Larkfield, the rural Mark West Springs Road corridor and parts of Wikiup. The fire also caused 23 deaths.

Residents will have the opportunity to raise concerns, offer gratitude and ask questions, Piccinini said.

The fire house is at 45 Lark Center Drive, off Old Redwood Highway in the center of Larkfield.
