Petaluma police arrest Humboldt County woman after high-speed chase

A Humboldt County woman was arrested Friday after leading officers on a high-speed chase, Petaluma police said.

Hannah Mouser, 27, of McKinleyville, fled when an officer attempted to pull over her vehicle around 3:45 p.m., after the Chevrolet Malibu she was driving was found to be stolen, police said.

She headed east on Washington Street before jumping onto south Highway 101 where, officers said, she weaved in and out of traffic, passing cars on the shoulder and center median with speeds reaching more than 90 mph. Police said Mouser then exited the highway, heading westbound on Rowland Boulevard in Novato, where she slammed into an incoming car before an officer rammed the car, causing it to spin and come to a stop.

Mouser was booked into Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of possessing a stolen vehicle and evading police. She also had four outstanding felony warrants from Humboldt County, police said.
