Santa Rosa town hall to address fire recovery efforts

The meeting will cover debris removal, watershed protection, flood prevention, state and federal financial assistance, housing and what's next in recovery efforts.|

Federal, state and county leaders are set to lead a town hall meeting in Santa Rosa on Jan. 13 to update the community on fire recovery efforts.

The Saturday meeting will be held inside the Santa Rosa High School gymnasium from 10 a.m. to noon and will cover debris removal, watershed protection, flood prevention, state and federal financial assistance, housing and what's next in recovery efforts.

Representatives from the Governor's Office of Emergency Services, FEMA and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be in attendance, as well as Reps. Mike Thompson and Jared Huffman, state Sens. Mike McGuire and Bill Dodd, Assembly members Jim Wood, Cecilia Aguiar-Curry and Marc Levine, and members of the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors and Santa Rosa City Council.
