Santa Rosa workshop planned to help fire survivors and contractors

A free construction and insurance seminar is planned for 2 p.m. March 10 at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts.|

Fire survivors and contractors can learn strategies for rebuilding homes at a free construction and insurance seminar at ?2 p.m. next Saturday at the Burbank Center for the Arts, 50 Mark West Springs Road.

Speakers will include Lynn Pham, an insurance restoration consultant with Scope Writing Services, who will speak on cash-flow problems that builders can experience when working with mortgage lenders during home rebuilding projects.

Other topics will include obtaining maximum insurance payouts and finding solutions without litigation for those homeowners who are underinsured.
