Two separate narcotics investigations by Santa Rosa police culminated this week in 11 arrests and seizure of more than $30,000 in cash, more than $25,000 worth of illegal drugs and several firearms.
On Thursday, police found methamphetamine, cash and drug paraphernalia in a south Santa Rosa house. Some of the drugs were found in a hidden compartment in a car dashboard. Arrested at the house were Jose Jimenez Guadalupe and Miguel Angel Rivera, both 23, of Santa Rosa.
Thursday's arrests were related to two other arrests and a search of a Sacramento house earlier this month. Alan Maldonado-Rivera, 25, of Santa Rosa, identified by police as a "significant supplier of narcotics in the Santa Rosa area," and Jesus Rivera-Camacho, 21, of Santa Rosa, were arrested on drug charges after police followed them to and from Sacramento, where Maldonado-Rivera secured meth to bring back to Santa Rosa and sell, police said.
In a separate investigation, Santa Rosa police arrested seven people at a southwest Santa Rosa house where they confiscated methamphetamine, cocaine, firearms and cash.
Arrested were Juan Carlos Chavez, 23; Cristobal Ortiz Escobar, 24; Eduardo Negron Lopez, 25; Humberto Osnaya, 35; Martin Daniel Trinidad, 25; Johnny Florian Ordonez, 23, all of Santa Rosa; and Garth Gabriel Cooper, 34, whose hometown was not known.
