A 24-year-old Santa Rosa woman was arrested Monday after leading officers on an early morning chase through the burned Coffey Park neighborhood, police said.

Mariah Centeno was booked into Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of evading a police officer — a felony, according to jail records.

After noticing several unspecified traffic violations, officers attempted to pull over Centeno’s light-colored SUV at 2:45 a.m. in the area of Piner Road and Cleveland Avenue, Santa Rosa police said in a statement. Centeno disregarded their lights and sirens, driving 60 mph through Coffey Park, where October’s Tubbs fire burned more than 1,200 homes, and several other neighborhoods, police said.

She then headed east on River Road to Mark West Springs Road. Santa Rosa police worked with the CHP, Calistoga police and the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office to arrest Centeno shortly after she stopped in Calistoga, where authorities said she ran from her SUV.

Centeno is being held in jail on $20,000 bail.
