Two Santa Rosa homeless men found dead in the past month have been identified by the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.

The body of Ruben Guerra, 30, was found in a Santa Rosa storm drain on May 14 after a complaint of a foul smell prompted a search.

Guerra’s death appeared to be a suicide, and authorities said the Coroner’s Office would determine that.

The body of Terry Lyn Jenkins, 63, was partially decomposed when it was discovered June 7 by a homeless woman on the Joe Rodota Trail.

At the time Jenkins’ body was found, Santa Rosa Police Sgt. Jonathan Wolf said they suspected he wasn’t connected with the Roseland encampment recently cleared by police and Sonoma County park rangers.

Both men were homeless, said Sonoma County Sheriff Sgt. Spencer Crum.
