Celebration of life to be held for former Sonoma County Fair publicist

A celebration of the life for former Sonoma County Fair publicist and teacher Marlina Boucher Harrison is from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Santa Rosa’s Luther Burbank Art and Garden Center.

The day would have been the day before Harrison’s 63rd birthday. The longtime Santa Rosa resident died May 12 after living for a year with leukemia.

Harrison won awards as a publicist with the former Campbell & Associates before she created her own public relations firm, Creative Media Associates.

She also did marketing for the Sonoma County Fair and local events that included the Harvest Fair, the Summer RV & Boat Show and the Independence Day celebration, Red, White & Boom.
