Sonoma State ranked No. 88 on Forbes’ list of best colleges in the West

Sonoma State University was recently ranked No. 88 on Forbes magazine’s best colleges in the West. Among public colleges across the U.S., SSU ranked No. 150.

“We are proud of the fact that within the past year we have been recognized by Forbes as a university that offers both a quality education and a great value,” SSU President Judy K. Sakaki said.

Forbes based its rankings on alumni salary, debt upon graduation, academic success and graduation rates, according to a news release.

The 9,400-student campus was also recently named in Princeton Review’s top 384 colleges for the fourth year in a row.
