A 26-year-old man was arrested early Thursday on suspicion of drunken driving after his pickup struck a parked vehicle in a residential neighborhood in Rohnert Park.

Adam Reichmuth, of Rohnert Park, was booked into Sonoma County Jail with bail set at $10,000. His blood alcohol level was nearly three times the 0.08‑percent legal limit for drivers, police said in a news release.

Officers responded shortly before 2:30 a.m. to a call of a traffic accident in the 7700 block of Beverly Drive. They found Reichmuth standing beside his green Mazda pickup, which had sustained major front-end damage.

Reichmuth told officers he earlier had been drinking at a pub in Cotati. He said when the crash occurred he was driving a girl to a supermarket in Rohnert Park.

Officers searched the area but were unable to find the passenger, police said. They said she already had left the crash site when they arrived.
