A Willits woman was jailed Saturday on a felony arrest warrant, as well as suspicion of falsifying license plates and possessing methamphetamine pipes.

Miranda Marie Mullins, 24, was spotted by a Mendocino County Sheriff’s deputy on Meadowbrook Drive in Willits after recognizing her from prior encounters with law enforcement. During the stop, the deputy discovered the license plates didn’t belong to the black sedan Mullins was driving, which is a felony, the sheriff’s office said.

Mullins informed the deputy she had an arrest warrant for failing to appear as promised while on probation, according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies said they later found meth pipes while searching the sedan.

Mullins was arrested and booked into Mendocino County Jail on $50,000 bail.
