KQED's 'Forum' coming to Santa Rosa to mark one-year firestorm anniversary

The broadcast will begin at 9 a.m. at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts. The program will feature Santa Rosa officials and a Press Democrat reporter.|

KQED will broadcast its “Forum” program live from Santa Rosa today to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the October 2017 firestorm.

The broadcast will begin at 9 a.m. at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts. Santa Rosa Mayor Chris Coursey, Councilwoman Julie Combs, Press Democrat reporter J.D. Morris and a representative of the Bay Area Council are scheduled to speak about the aftermath of the fires.

Host Michael Krasny will ask about the state of rebuilding efforts and the housing shortage, among other topics. Audience members will be able to pose questions.
