Two injured in Highway 116 crash

The highway was closed for about 30 minutes following the early Thursday two-vehicle crash.|

Highway 116 near Stony Point Road was closed briefly Thursday morning after a two-car crash with minor injuries, CHP said.

Around 6:44 a.m., CHP closed the highway after a crash involving a gray SUV and blue sedan. The westbound lane reopened at 6:57 a.m., and the eastbound lane reopened at 7:12 a.m.

Two unidentified people in the crash had minor injuries, Rancho Adobe Fire Battalion Chief Mike Weihman said.
