A 24-year-old Santa Rosa man was arrested early Sunday on multiple weapons charges after he was found in possession of a loaded gun, police said.

Santa Rosa police were called to the 200 block of B Street at 1:30 a.m. regarding a possible intoxicated driver in a tan Chevrolet SUV. A witness reported seeing the driver brandishing a gun at another person.

Officers later found the SUV on McMinn Avenue in southwest Santa Rosa. While they were talking to the driver, they saw a handgun in plain view inside, Sgt. Dan Marincik said. It did not have a round in the chamber but had an attached firearm magazine that was loaded, he said.

Officers arrested Inocensio Dunuan on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm with an altered serial number, and other weapons charges. He also was held on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Dunuan was booked into Sonoma County Jail.
