Cloverdale police are still searching for two men who broke into a home, shot a woman and beat up a man on the night of Dec. 1.

Police spokesman Rudy Segobiano said the motive for the home invasion was unclear, as the suspects did not take anything from the home on the 400 block of North Foothill Boulevard.

The two victims, who are not being identified at this time, were unable to provide detailed descriptions of the suspects because they were traumatized from the attack, Segobiano said. He said the men did not say anything before attacking the victims, and the two victims were not involved in illicit activity, such as illegal marijuana growing, a frequent factor in home invasions.

Cloverdale police ask anyone with information to call Officer Beau Gastineau at 707-894-2150.
