The snowfall was expected to continue Monday night until around sunrise Tuesday morning, bringing up to 8 inches at elevations above 2,000 feet.

The National Weather Service did not expect snowfall at elevations below 400 feet, but readers reported a dusting of snow in Freestone, at 200 feet.
