Crash closes Windsor roads for several hours

A crash involving a car and low-hanging wires shut down an intersection in Windsor for several hours Thursday, authorities said.

The area near Starr Road and Robbie Way, just north of Cali Calmecac Language Academy, was closed after the crash, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office said.

The crash involving one car happened about 8:15 a.m., according to Redcom emergency dispatchers. No major injuries were reported.

The Sheriff’s Office at 9:20 p.m. sent out an alert that it had reopened the road. No other details were available.
