A man robbed an Exchange Bank branch in Sebastopol at gunpoint Monday and then fled on foot.

The man, wearing a black-hooded jacket with a decal on the front and black jeans, entered the bank at 720 Gravenstein Highway North shortly before 2 p.m. He brandished a black handgun and demanded money from the teller.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the man quickly left the bank. Police were unable to locate the suspect in nearby neighborhoods. He was described as white, 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build and between 20 and 30 years of age.
