Windsor police issued a warning Wednesday about an aggressive man who grabbed a woman as she walked on a Windsor street Tuesday.

The woman was walking near Brooks Road and Arata Lane about 5 p.m. when the man grabbed her buttocks from behind. She confronted him and he briefly continued, while making crude sexual remarks, sheriff’s Sgt. Spencer Crum said in a news release.

When he ran she followed but couldn’t keep up as the chase wound east on Arata and south on Elsbree Lane. A driver in a plumbing van stopped the man, but not knowing what happened let the suspect go, Crum said.

Investigators asked the van driver and anyone with information to contact Windsor police at 707-838-1234.
