The Fort Bragg High School football team defeated visiting Cloverdale 41-0 on Friday night to win the NCL I title outright and cap a perfect season (10-0, 7-0).

Cloverdale (7-3, 4-3) finishes in the middle of the pack in the league standings.

Fort Bragg quarterback Kaylor Sullivan shined as usual, passing for 392 yards and four touchdowns, completing 28 of 45 attempts. Sullivan ran for a touchdown as well. Timberwolves receiver Lucas Triplett had 14 catches for 174 yards.

Fort Bragg led 20-0 at halftime and was in control from wire to wire.

“It was a physical game,” Cloverdale coach Chad Prieskorn said. “We just couldn’t finish off drives and Fort Bragg kept making big plays.”

KELSEYVILLE 27, LOWER LAKE 14

The host Knights (3-7, 2-5) ended their season with a win and finished in sixth place in the NCL I. Lower Lake (4-6, 1-7) finished in a tie for last place with Clear Lake.

Kelseyville led 21-0 at halftime before surrendering two second-half touchdowns to the Trojans.

TOMALES 36, RINCON VALLEY CHRISTIAN 8

In a season-finale NCL III game, host Tomales defeated Rincon Valley Christian as the Braves’ Ty Evenich scored all five of Tomales’ touchdowns.

Evenich had scoring runs of 29, 21, 10 and 59 yards and an interception return of 25 yards for a touchdown.

“Ty decided to take the game over,” Tomales coach Dominic Sacheli said. “Ty was determined that he wasn’t going to be tackled.”

Evenich suffered a knee injury in the second game of the season and was finally playing at full strength on Friday night, according to Sacheli.

“We haven’t seen Ty run like this in a while,” Sacheli said. “He showed no signs of slowing down.”

Tomales finished in sixth place and RVC in fifth in the NCL III.

Tomales (5-4) led 8-0 at halftime but broke open the game with a 22-8 scoring edge in the third quarter to bury the Eagles (2-6).

“It was a good way to end the season,” Sacheli said. “All of our seniors played really well in the second half.”
