Mountain bike competition in Santa Rosa postponed until Sunday

Two days of rain made the course at Sonoma County Fairgrounds too wet for biking, but there’s a better forecast for Sunday.|

AT’s Showdown, the professional mountain biking competition scheduled for Saturday at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, has been postponed because of inclement weather conditions. Organizers of the event announced Saturday morning that the event was rescheduled for today, with gates opening at the fairgrounds at 11 a.m.

The competition is expected to attracted about 40 of the best-known freeride mountain bikers who will compete in a head-to-head main event to determine the top aerialist.
