One-time high school teammates Sara (Bei) Hall and Kim Conley, finished five minutes apart at the New York City Marathon Sunday.

Hall, a senior at Montgomery High School when the Vikings won the 2000 state cross country title, finished in ninth place and was the fifth American to cross the line at 2:36:12, off her all-time best of 2:30:06.

Conley, a freshman that season and now a two-time Olympian in the 5,000 meters, finished 16th and was the 10th American to finish. Her time was 2:41:38 in her first race at that distance.
