Press Democrat subscriptions are continuous subscriptions that may be canceled at any time. If renewal payment is not received by the expiration date of the current payment period, you will enter a 60-day grace period. During grace period, deliveries and electronic edition access will continue and you will be charged for up to 60 days or until you contact our Customer Service to cancel the subscription. You will be charged for any newspapers delivered prior to cancellation. To cancel, contact Customer Service by phone at 707-575-7500, during Customer Care Center business hours (Mon – Fri 6am-3pm PST, Sat 6:30am-11am PST, Sun 6:30am-10:30am PST).


All print subscriptions include eight (8) premium issues delivered throughout the year. For each premium issue, your account will be charged up to $4.00 in the billing period when the issue is delivered. This will adjust the length of your subscription.


Please visit, select Manage My Subscription, choose Pause My Delivery, and schedule the pause in your delivery. To talk to a Customer Service representative, contact our local Customer Care Center before 3pm PST Monday – Friday, for option of next-day and temporary holds. Temporary holds placed on Friday after 3pm PST, on Saturday, or on Sunday will be processed the following week. Credit is not available for temporary holds, as access to digital content continues during this time.


Prices are subject to change upon the expiration date of each subscription term. In general, prices are higher in outlying areas.


Print subscription pricing includes tax. The sale of printed newspapers is subject to sales tax (per Cal. Code Reg. §1590(b)(1)). Print delivery subscriptions include transportation costs (as required per Cal. Code Reg. § 1628) and include applicable sales tax reimbursement on any taxable portion of the subscription (as required per Cal. Code Reg. § 1700 (a)(2)).

Same day re-delivery is available in most Sonoma County areas, for requests placed before 9:30am PST. If same day re-delivery is not possible, your account can be credited, extending your subscription’s expiration date, or can be delivered with your next day’s paper.
