Judy James, director of government affairs at Comcast Cable, is the new chairwoman of the board at the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce. She will lead an executive committee of 12 and a board that includes more than 30 directors.

She has more than 25 years of experience in marketing, human resource management and other services. She most recently served 10 years as the general manager of Medtech Services, Inc. in Reno.

The former owner of Gregory Beale Construction, he has more than 20 years of experience in construction and business management, including such services as new construction, residential remodeling, project development and land use planning.

Hanna Boys Center near Sonoma has elected four new regents to its board of directors.

They are Jack Boland, founder and president of Baker Street Advertising; Peter Connolly, a retired Wells Fargo executive; Frank Conway, corporate attorney with the Meyer Corporation; and Mary Corroon, owner and president of Corroon Consulting.
