Indie rock legends Pixies and Weezer coming to Bay Area

Ticket sales are starting November 10. Here is all you need to know.|

Good news for music fans who look just like Buddy Holly and have trouble finding their mind, The Pixies and Weezer are co-headlining a seven week, North American tour for the summer of 2018, including a stop at the Shoreline Amphitheatre on Aug. 7.

The tour marks the first time the two indie rock legends will embark on a full tour together. “We have a lot of respect for Weezer, they’re not afraid to take risks with their music,” said Pixies’ Blake Francis.

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on Nov. 10 through livenation.com with prices ranging from $47.50 to $93.

The tour follows the release of Weezer’s recently released, 11th studio album, ‘Pacific Daydream’ and The Pixies’ latest LP, ‘Head Carrier’ released in September of 2016.
