A Petaluma youth baseball coach who helped lead his team to the Little League World Series pleaded not guilty Friday to domestic violence charges.

Trevor Tomei is charged with felony stalking of his estranged wife and three misdemeanors in connection with dozens of text messages he is alleged to have sent her over the past two months in violation of a restraining order.

He was arrested Oct. 7 and remains in jail on $500,000 bail. Judge Rene Chouteau set a preliminary hearing for Dec. 4.

Tomei was one of three coaches to lead Petaluma National, a all-star team of 11- and 12-year-olds, in the 2012 Little League World Series in South Williamsport, Pa. The team finished in third place.
