Fatal crash victim ID'd

The CHP Monday identified an East Bay man killed in a motorcycle crash near the coast as Oliver Emerson Conley.

Conley, 30, of Oakland, lost control of his bike as he rode on rural Skaggs Springs Road Sunday afternoon at a high rate of speed, CHP Officer Barbara Upham said.

East of Stewarts Point, his 1990 Honda Hawk bike slid and hit a guardrail.

Conley, who was riding alone, died at the scene.

The crash occurred at about 2 p.m.
