Injury crash blocks Lakeville Highway

A big rig and a pickup collided early Monday on Lakeville Highway, sending at least one person to the hospital, according to CHP.|

Colliding trucks on Lakeville Highway partially blocked the major commute route early Monday and injured at least one person, according to the CHP.

The crash occurred at about 5:25 a.m. Emergency crews still were dealing with the aftermath as of about 7:30 a.m.

It happened near Old Lakeville Road 3 and involved a big rig and a Toyota truck, according to initial CHP information.

At least one person was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital by Petaluma paramedics.
