Body found at Bay Area college

San Francisco police are investigating a homicide following the discovery of a man's body behind a truck that crashed into a chiropractic college in Hayward.|

HAYWARD — San Francisco Bay Area police are investigating a homicide following the discovery of a man's body behind a moving truck that crashed into a chiropractic college.

KTNV reports (http://bit.ly/1Cnh5qf ) that police were called to the college early Friday morning. When the crash occurred was not immediately known. No one else was reported injured.

Hayward Lt. Ken Forkus says the report came in about 2 a.m. at the Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, which is east of San Francisco.

The identity of the dead person was not released.

Forkus says police are investigating the death as a homicide until investigators learn differently. College workers found the body.

Life Chiropractic College West spokeswoman Diana Rohini La Vigne was still gathering information about the death early Friday and did not have a comment.
