A masked man armed with a handgun robbed the RadioShack near Coddingtown Mall and two patrons in the store Friday evening, Santa Rosa police said.

The robbery was reported by store staff just before 9 p.m.

The man entered the store wearing the ski mask, denim clothing and holding an unknown type of handgun, Sgt. Marcus Sprague said. He took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and robbed two male customers in the store. He also took a pair of headphones before fleeing in an unknown direction, Sprague said.

Store staff members said the man wore a pair of white gloves and his gun had a flashlight on it.

Several officers responded to the scene, ordering store occupants out with their hands up before they searched the store.

Store manager Carlos España said his staff were shaken up but fine.

“We don’t deserve this kind of stuff,” España said.
