Traffic slowed on Arnold Drive in the Sonoma Valley on Thursday after a pickup overturned, CHP officials said.

The collision took place at about 9:15 a.m. near the roundabout at Arnold Drive and Agua Caliente Road West.

The driver of a GMC Sierra pickup heading south on Arnold Drive let the vehicle drift into the oncoming lane, over-corrected and caused the vehicle to overturn, CHP officials said.

The driver, whose name wasn’t immediately available, was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital as a precautionary measure, according to a CHP officer at the scene.

The driver told an officer he was not using a cellphone and was traveling about 35 mph when the crash occurred, according to a CHP officer. The speed limit in the area is 40 mph.
