Mendocino County Sheriff's Office seeks attempted armed robbery suspects

Mendocino County sheriff’s authorities are seeking suspects in an attempted armed robbery at a Little River home.

The two suspects, wearing ski masks and dark clothing and armed with a firearm, confronted a 62-year-old man and 55-year-old woman in the driveway of their rural, wooded Little River Airport Road home on May 6, sheriff’s authorities said.

The victims fled into the home and the suspects left the scene following the late night attempted robbery, authorities said.

A law enforcement sweep of the densely wooded area surrounding the home failed to find the suspects. Sheriff’s authorities ask that anyone with information about the incident contact the sheriff’s office at 234-2100.
