Missing Sebastopol teen found safe

A Laguna High student who ran away from home nearly two weeks ago has been found, authorities say.|

A Sebastopol teen missing for nearly two weeks has been found.

The family of 17-year-old Austin Alexander reported to police that they had located the Laguna High School junior.

'I do understand he was found and is safe,' Sebastopol police Sgt. David Harston said Friday morning.

The family on Wednesday sought the public's help in finding Alexander. They said the youth had run away on May 22 and they hadn't heard from him since that date.
