A subsidiary of Sebastopol-based O’Reilly Media Inc. has purchased a technology training company in an effort to further expand its portfolio of professional development products.

The subsidiary, Safari, purchased the assets of Seattle-based Popforms, which provides courses and tools on leadership training for early-career technical managers, specifically to millennials. Content is delivered on its website, videos, newsletters and interactive exercises.

It was founded in 2013 by Kate Matsudaria.

Earlier this year, O’Reilly acquired full ownership of Safari, which is an online learning library for technology and business professionals. More than 200 publishers and training providers have contributed over 30,000 books, instructional videos, audiobooks, and conference talks to the library, which was launched by Safari 14 years ago.
