Bennett Valley Road crash closes road

A vehicle crashed into trees on Bennett Valley Road Wednesday afternoon, closing the rural route between Enterprise and Sonoma Mountain roads overnight to repair downed power lines, according to CHP reports.

The road is expected to reopen late Thursday morning.

The crash was reported just before 3 p.m. and occurred on eastbound Bennett Valley Road near Bennett Ridge Road. The vehicle traveled down an embankment. Reports indicated no one was injured.
