Three Santa Rosa women accused of Marin County burglaries
Three Santa Rosa women are being charged after Novato police were called early Sunday morning about suspicious women looking into parked cars, a news release said.
The call came in to police at 2:41 a.m., and officers were called to Muroc Lake Drive by a neighbor who made the report. The three women were found in a parked SUV, the release said. Upon searching their car, officers reported finding what appeared to be stolen mail and other property.
The three women are:
Margaret Hernandez, 39, arrested for an outstanding warrant, conspiring to commit a crime, and possession of stolen property; Christina Smith, 32, on probation out of Sonoma County, arrested for possession of burglary tools, conspiring to commit a crime, and possession of stolen property; and Diane Rivas, 31, on probation out of Sonoma County, arrested for possession of methamphetamine, conspiring to commit a crime, and possession of stolen property.
All three women were taken to Marin County Jail.
