Man playing Pokemon Go stumbles upon body in Lake County

A man playing Pokemon Go stumbled upon the body of a woman in a Lake County field, the Lake County Sheriff's Office reported Wednesday.

At least two other bodies have been found by people playing the wildly popular game. One was found by three women searching for virtual fictional characters in a San Diego park. Another was found in a Wyoming river by a teen playing the game.

The Lake County man who found a body was walking near his Clearlake Riviera home on Tuesday when he discovered the body of the 84-year-old woman, officials said.

Detectives did not observe any obvious signs of trauma on the woman, whose identity was not released. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of death, officials said.
