Sacramento man gets five years prison for pimping teen girls in Santa Rosa

A Sacramento man was sentenced Thursday to five years in prison for acting as a pimp to two teenage girls whom he plied with drugs and promoted on the internet.

Kevin Morales, 24, was sentenced by Judge Peter Ottenweller after pleading guilty in November to felony human trafficking.

Prosecutors said Morales orchestrated a scheme in the Santa Rosa area from March through May. He provided the girls with drugs, posted information about them on sex-trade websites and arranged rendezvous with paying customers. In addition, he provided security and arranged transportation.

He admitted his role at an early stage so the girls would not have to testify in court. The judge called his behavior “disgusting” in handing down the punishment.
