A Mendocino County man remained jailed Monday on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with a stabbing outside a bar north of Ukiah.

Jeremiah Luna, 34, of Ukiah, is suspected of stabbing a 59-year-old man during a fight outside a Calpella bar May 30. The fight began after both men were ejected from the facility because they were intoxicated, according to Mendocino County sheriff’s officials.

Luna armed himself with a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times in the abdomen, sheriff’s officials said. The victim was flown to a Santa Rosa hospital where he was listed in stable condition, officials said.
