Clearlake woman wounded in shooting

Clearlake police were seeking suspects in a shooting that left one woman wounded at a Sharp Drive home, officials said.|

A residential alarm sent Clearlake police to a house where they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.

Triggered by movement inside the Sharp Drive home, the alarm was activated about 10:45 p.m. Thursday, Clearlake Police Detective Ryan Peterson said.

The wounded woman, who wasn’t identified while the suspect or suspects remained at large, was the only one home, Peterson said. She was airlifted to a hospital outside Lake County for treatment, said Peterson, who didn’t describe how badly she was injured. No more information was available Friday.

Anyone with information about the case can call Peterson at 707-994-8251, extension 320.
