One killed in crash near Forestville

One person was killed Tuesday evening in a collision between a gravel truck and a Chevrolet Suburban in the 4200 block of River Road east of Forestville, the CHP reported.

The 6:50 p.m. crash closed River Road near Slusser Road, according to the CHP website. The westbound lanes were reopened at 8:30 p.m.

No further information was available. The Highway Patrol could not be reached for information.
