Fire burns 2 acres near Salt Point State Park

A fire burned a little under 2 acres on the west side of Highway 1 near Salt Point State Park Wednesday afternoon.

Cal Fire and several nearby fire agencies responded to the 2:30 p.m. incident to keep the flames from jumping the highway.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
