Jessica Florene and Jason Robert Schroeder are planning their wedding for summer 2017.|

Jorge and Rowena Abulencia of Petaluma are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Florene, to Jason Robert Schroeder, son of Robert and Jean Schroeder of Racine, Wisconsin.

Jessica received her B.S. in Chemistry and M.A. in Teaching from the University of California, Irvine. She currently teaches Chemistry at Corona del Mar High School in Newport Beach.

Jason holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse and a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at NASA Langley Research Center in Newport News, VA.

Their wedding is planned for summer 2017.
